Jiaheng main pumping cylinder is specially designed for use on concrete pump trucks, using high-strength alloy steel, equipped with multiple combination seals, and buffer devices at both ends of the cylinder body. It is a key executing component in the hydraulic system of the pump truck, working together with other components in the pumping system (such as distribution valves and concrete cylinders) to ensure the overall efficiency and reliability of the pump truck's operation.

Concrete Pump Main Hydraulic Cylinder
The Jiaheng concrete pump main hydraulic cylinder provides the reciprocating force that drives the pumping mechanism. Designed for concrete pump trucks, boom pumps and trailer pumps, it works with the hydraulic circuit, concrete pistons and distribution system to perform repeated pumping strokes.
The main pumping cylinder combines an alloy-steel structure, combination seals, a hard-chrome-plated piston rod and end cushioning. Selection should match the pump's installation dimensions, operating pressure, stroke and reversing arrangement.
| Your Requirement | Selection Approach | Information to Provide |
|---|---|---|
| Replace an existing main pumping cylinder | Match the original mechanical and hydraulic interfaces | Pump model, part number, drawing, ports and rod connection |
| Develop a new concrete pumping unit | Specify the cylinder together with the complete pumping circuit | Required force, stroke, pressure, flow and cycle rate |
| Address impact during stroke reversal | Review cushioning, switching signals and valve timing together | Circuit diagram, operating speed and description of the impact |
| Address leakage or premature seal wear | Check seals, guidance, alignment and oil conditions | Failure photographs, temperature, fluid and maintenance history |
The following published ranges cover different configurations. Final dimensions and operating ratings must be confirmed for the selected model; range limits should not be combined as one specification.
| Parameter | Published Range or Configuration |
|---|---|
| Cylinder diameter | 120–200 mm; confirm bore dimensions on the model drawing |
| Rod diameter | 80–140 mm |
| Stroke | 1500–3000 mm |
| Working pressure | 25–35 MPa, depending on the approved design |
| Sealing | Combination sealing arrangement |
| Cushioning | End cushioning matched to the application |
| Rod surface | Hard chrome plated |
Available drive force depends on hydraulic pressure, effective piston area and operating losses. Concrete pressure and delivery capacity also depend on the concrete piston dimensions, pumping circuit and operating conditions.
Stroke must match the pumping assembly and available installation length. Rod guidance and alignment are important throughout travel, particularly where repeated reversals and changing loads act on a long cylinder.
End cushioning helps decelerate movement near the travel limits. Its configuration must work with the pump's reversing circuit and switching points. Cushioning alone cannot correct unsuitable valve timing or an incorrectly matched hydraulic circuit.
Combination seals, a honed barrel and a hard-chrome-plated rod support pressure retention and controlled movement. Seal selection should account for hydraulic fluid, temperature, speed and pressure transients.
Jiaheng's custom hydraulic cylinder services cover dimensional, mounting and sealing requirements. Provide a drawing for review before selecting a replacement or specifying a new concrete pump drive cylinder.
● Bore, rod diameter, stroke and overall installation length.
● Mounting references, connection dimensions and alignment requirements.
● Rod-end connection to the concrete piston assembly.
● Hydraulic port sizes, positions and interconnection details.
● Cushioning arrangement and any switching or sensor interfaces.
● Normal pressure, peak pressure, flow and pumping cycle rate.
For a twin-cylinder pumping circuit, identify the cylinder position and any differences between the two units. Matching nominal bore and stroke alone does not establish interchangeability.
Jiaheng manufactures main pumping cylinders using machining, honing, rod surface treatment and assembly processes. Dimensional inspection, pressure testing and sealing checks form part of the published manufacturing workflow.
Agree on the drawing revision and acceptance criteria before production. Project-specific inspection requirements should cover mounting dimensions, usable stroke, leakage limits and functional performance. Where cushioning or feedback devices are specified, include their verification in the acceptance plan.

The main cylinder provides hydraulic drive to the pumping mechanism. The concrete piston operates within the concrete conveying barrel. Identify which component requires replacement using the assembly drawing and part number.
Not by itself. Output depends on available hydraulic flow, stroke rate, concrete piston size, filling efficiency and the complete pumping circuit. Increasing pressure ratings does not automatically increase delivery volume.
The model number is a starting point. Confirm the original part number, drawing, rod connection, ports and installation dimensions because equipment versions may use different configurations.
Pressure, temperature, oil cleanliness, alignment, rod condition and reversal frequency all affect seal wear. Maintenance intervals should follow the equipment instructions and actual inspection findings.
Order conditions depend on the approved configuration, materials, quantity and inspection requirements. Include your destination and required date so Jiaheng can confirm lead time, warranty terms and spare seal availability with the quotation.
Send your pump model, original part number, cylinder drawing and required quantity. Include pressure, stroke rate, hydraulic fluid and any existing failure details to support an accurate specification review.
